Tuia 250 events

A number of events were held in regions right around the country as part of the Tuia - Encounters 250 national commemoration. The Tuia 250 Voyage took place from October to December, with the public invited to join the journey by experiencing the vessels onboard when they landed.

Tuia Mātauranga Roadshow 2019

The Tuia Mātauranga roadshow is now complete for 2019. Thank you to all those that visited the roadshow to take part in the Tuia Mātauranga experience - 27,000 people from 24 communities at 43 events across Aotearoa New Zealand. Thousands more continue to access our online resources on this website, and take part in learning about local history through the Tuia Mātauranga GeoTour.
